I currently teach English at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, NC, but I spent the first half of my career as a magazine editor. I have worked for both consumer and trade publications in the positions of fashion and beauty editor, celebrity editor, travel editor, and diet and fitness editor. I hold a BA in Communications from LaSalle University, Philadelphia, PA, and an MEd in Secondary English Education from NC State University in Raleigh, NC. I am currently pursuing another MEd from NC State in Instructional Technology.
