This past March, the MacArthur Foundation shared a set of design and learning principles that emerged from their Digital Media and Learning Initiative. These design and learning principles, called Connected Learning (http://connectedlearning.tv/what-is-connected-learning) provide a "new approach to learning" anchored in a rich history of teaching and learning research and theory while also designed to mine the learning potential of the new social and digital media domains. Come "cross-pollinate" with others about these principles, and their possibilities. Bring your lunch bag/box so that we can eat and chat together.
