About Me

My passion for improving educational opportunities for underserved populations stems from my work in the New Orleans RSD post-Katrina. I am currently a second year Ph.D. student studying education policy at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. In my research I aim to incorporate a multitude of perspectives on student learning, integrating the studies of education policy and reform, philosophy, sociology, and cognitive science, in order to develop new and comprehensive ideas for improving education.

Educating for Changemaking: How we can ensure students become empathic leaders who can work collaboratively to drive change, address shared problems, and generate innovative solutions to social problems.

  - Hacking Entrepreneurship
    
    Come to the Franklin Institute to see a group of societal and business entrepreneurs speak about how they think in an entrepreneurial fashion to have an impact on the world. This panel discussion is moderated by Frederic Bertley of The Franklin Institute.
